All change on Planet Earth
A new world going through a painful birth.
If we take this time as a spiritual opportunity
Seeing life as a journey on which we never stop learning
We’re in this together and also alone
This journey could bring humanity home.

The human race has been deep asleep
in a dream of separation
from the powers that keep
the cosmos revolving and humanity evolving.
These powers are found within
and this time is the beginning
of a new collective story for us all
it will emerge when we listen to their call.

Ancestors are always with us.
At Samhain the veils are at their thinnest
It pays dividends to take time to be still, give them space
doing so we reconnect the human race
to the core reality of being alive –
the living and the dead and like day and night –
we are due a return of second sight:
the mind’s eye can many wonders reveal
things that have long been concealed
especially from the masses, and still are today
we’re kept asleep by the media, by merchandise, escapist play
but in these tough times, when our living is curtailed
we don’t need to get angry, don’t have to go off the rails:
we can sit, we can sing, dance, drum, draw, read, write, play and pray
we don’t need lots of money, we don’t need lots of people
in order to enjoy life this way
we can take the journey of exploring within
and help the new story for humanity begin.
When things feel bleak, if gloom enters our days
we can invoke the great stoic mantra AMOR FATE
which reminds us that all the twists and turns of life
are part of the journey, and can bring us to the light.
