Is there a police state coming?

The powers that be are scared:

the walls they built are crumbling

as the people become more aware

of the corruption and greed

and the urgent need

to change the way we are living;

become more aware

of inequality and impending doom

the end of life as we know it

could be coming soon.

The government is cracking down:

take out your ID and your vaccine pass

if you want to go out on the town;

a new war on drugs is promised

and the healing weed remains forbidden;

the government giving itself the right

to lock up protesters it doesn’t like;

it turns away desperate migrants

and treats the population as worker ants,

surveilled by technological eyes:

we are no longer free.

The powers that be are scared

and totally unprepared

to navigate the way ahead

as the system shakes and people wake up,

so they are choosing to clamp down on us instead.

The alternative would be a way of liberty,

freeing the chains that prevent creativity,

a focus on art as well as science

to liberate the soul inside us.

The alternative would be to listen to the wisdom

of the crones and the sages,

of the mystics of all ages

and hasten the end of the Piscean dreamtime –

celebrate the awakening that has long been happening,

helping human hearts to open and human minds to heal;

celebrate the awakening that has long been happening

hidden from the view of the mainstream world.

Human minds have been controlled by academia and media,

science became the new faith:

we have trusted our leaders and worked for the cause

but now the world has to change, take a new course:

LIBERTY! NOT MORE CHAINS! Humanity set free

from its religious cages and its soul death by reason,

a return of the Goddess, an end to the mess

of a world in a turmoil and run by greed,

instead we could attend to our real human needs

for love, compassion, community and peace:

the controls of a fear based leadership MUST CEASE.

But they won’t cease yet.

Control will tighten

Times can get tough

Until enough are enlightened

and living from love.

A revolution will come

in human understanding,

our leaders need to listen and learn

and let the Divine in.
