Divinity is a Queer Thing

Divinity is a Queer thing

Like Sexuality it starts from within,

Jesus said you have to marry the inner genders to get in

to the kingdom of Heaven.

Divinity doesn’t sit in clouds,

it doesn’t hide in holy shrouds,

it emerges in a people feeling proud

despite the trials of persecution.

Rising into who we are

each person is a shining star

whose inner being is divine

the rainbow rises, this is it’s time.

The Universal Daddy and the Mother Moon

hope that humanity will wake up soon

to the divinity pulsing in everyone

it’s so long since the game of separation was begun.

For centuries dark and millennia long

humanity’s creeds have often got it wrong:

what we believe we create

in this magical universe –

we’ve bought into separation

we’ve been under a curse.

The yin-yang push-me-pull-you dance of light and dark

has ravaged the world and pulled us all apart

but the Divinity within us is waiting to be born,

cosmic conscious humans will see the Earth restored

to Her beauty, grace and balance

when humans once more enter the cosmic dance.
