Walking Each Other Home

Gay spiritual teacher Ram Dass said we are all walking each other home… But home to where?

TO ONENESS…

To the recognition and understanding that we are SPIRITUAL BEINGS ON A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY AND REMEMBRANCE, that life and death are two parts of the same experience, that we have passed through the veils thousands of times, and that we have lived as female and male, as gay and straight, that we are part of nature not separate from it…

“Life does not begin at birth or end at death. Life extends beyond body and time, into and out of a spaciousness like the most powerful of dreams. Words alone cannot describe it. Perhaps 3-D film might one day do it, reveal the fluid vastness that life is. But one aspect of life is creating a body to focus yourself in. To do this is holy, to do this is a gift. You live in many bodies, as a painter paints many canvasses. Death is not the destruction of the artist. Death is the beginning of another phase in your timeless creativity.” Two Flutes Playing.

Human beings have been on a journey for many thousands of years and this collective journey has led us to a point where many of us are ready to recognize our true identity as spiritual beings. This involves, and requires, making peace with the traumas and issues of this and maybe previous lifetimes – this becomes a natural process as the light dawns that these were essential parts of the journey, which of course also brings us Cosmic moments that reveal the underlying unity of life, the unifying presence of love – and the crucial role the mind plays in either attuning or separating us from the feeling and awareness of that presence. Learning that our beliefs and thoughts create the emotional waves of our own reality can be a majorly humbling but ultimately liberating experience. We can retrain our minds to perceive the unity and divine presence and emotion in any situation, to see the divinity in all people, to serve love and create well being in our lives.

Once aware of and awake to the Mystery of creation we can then become consciousness scouts, in service to the greater good, to the unveiling of the light, assisting the rise of love and compassion to the centre of human existence.

Once aware of and awake to the Miracle we can keep ourselves in harmony with it through studying and celebrating the moon and sun cycles. Astrology gives us a map of the journey we’re all on, and shows the way home.

Edward Carpenter

Edward Carpenter, Civilisation: Its Cause and Cure (1889) : “The meaning of the old religions will come back to him. On the high tops once more gathering he will celebrate with naked dances the glory of the human form and the great processions of the stars, or greet the bright horn of the young moon which now after a hundred centuries comes back laden with such wondrous associations – all the yearnings and the dreams and the wonderment of the generations of mankind – the worship of Astarte and of Diana, of Isis or the Virgin Mary; once more in sacred groves will he reunite the passion and the delight of human love with his deepest feelings of the sanctity and beauty of Nature; or in the open, standing uncovered to the Sun, will adore the emblem of the everlasting splendour which shines within.”

I am quoting gay writers because i believe these spiritual pioneers are key ancestral connections for all queer people of today. They open gates to help us explore and discover our true selves, and the gifts we bring to this world.

“Gay people have a function in this time of transition, a vital and necessary spiritual function. The weaving together of vibrations that is now called gayness is not the average pattern on your world. It is not average, but it is important. To be gay is to have a different relationship to male and female. To be gay is to have a different relationship to young and old. To be gay is to transcend other groups, political, social, ethnic, religious. And the experiences gained from all these differences are useful to the whole of the human community. To be whole is to be balanced in one’s male and female energies, whether straight or gay, but gay people are often more attuned to the non-manifest energy.

“Gayness is the coming together of certain strands of humanness. This particular arrangement, particular frequency, resonates well with certain functions in the human community. It is a nurturing frequency, a strong and caring one, that expresses itself in every possible way, yet excels at certain ones. To make art, to dance, to make beauty of body, food, home, all of these can be gifts of this energy. But working with those who are dying, working with death, is one of the skills that have been forgotten, not only by your community, but by the world itself…

“Some people will not want to hear that life does not begin at birth or end at death. For many gay people, the sense of spirituality has been for so long denied that only the body, sex, beauty seems real. And it will be hard for some gay men to hear that there is more than that, that rises up from spirit and goes back to it again…

“You as soul create many bodies to express yourself through, in different times, in different places, as female and male, as straight and gay. You are born many times and you die many times. Death is that part of the soul’s process of recreating itself. The work of gay midwives to the dying is not easy. But you can tap into the place where you have done it before. You can tap into your guides, you can tap into the source of love, which permeates the universe. Love binds all together. No one is separate from love, from spirit. And death is not a separation. It is only a change in frequency.” Two Flutes Playing

On the road to immortality, on the way home, after many centuries of humanity wandering confused, lost and alone…

The resurrection of the dead that a certain saviour spoke of… Is the return of the spirit into our world, the awakening to the unity of life and death, the inner eye opening to Oneness… Humanity coming home…

If you’re alive today it’s likely because your soul wants to be here, be part of the Great Awakening, that, as many are now sensing, is getting closer…

  1. RE “the Great Awakening, that, as many are now sensing, is getting closer… ”

The so-called “great awakenings” were historically never great because they did not last but a geological twitch in time at best, even in terms of human history they were only moments in time. They were only a minor temporary awakenings.

Lots of people have made the claim that a GREAT spiritual awakening is happening for many many years/decades/centuries already…

Yet the planned Covid holocaust scam proved and proves these are all illusions and fantasies and lies — http://www.CovidTruthBeKnown.com / https://www.rolf-hefti.com/covid-19-coronavirus.html (that essay also explains WHY historically and currently there are, at best, only temporary minor awakenings)

Guess what the chances are that a “great awakening” is really happening today or in a century, etc?
